This is another card submission. I am terrible at keeping track of the time I work on an image, but most are anywhere from 10 to 30 hours. This was done using a Wacom Intuos 3. I was inspired to do this image after watching the episode of Merlin: The Labyrinth of Gedref which is about a unicorn. For the background I took my own photographs of trees and foliage and created custom Photoshop brushes out them. I relied heavily on the median filter as well. This is a revision of the original image. Thanks to the advise I received from fellow artists here in the forums, I think it came out much better this time. I revised this image, there were a few things that I just had to fix about it, that I did not notice until after I posted it the first time. I really hope you enjoy it.
